EXPERIENCE
Amy Burns is a skilled Attorney with a background in litigation and regulatory procedure. Amy has tried cases in State and Superior Court, including contract disputes, declaratory judgment actions, and appeals of administrative action by a state agency, among others. She has experience with state agency administrative and regulatory processes and procedures, as well as with agency enforcement actions.
Before coming to Gorby Peters Law, she was Assistant Attorney General at the Georgia Department of Law and was Staff Attorney at the Fulton County Public Defender’s Office and Krohn & Moss, a firm specializing in consumer law.
In her spare time, Amy is involved in her community via the Early Edgewood-Candler Park History Project as a Researcher, and makes her own craft jewelry.
